  Try to spend some time to do relaxing activities the morning before your wedding. A nice massage or sauna or spa treatment can be a good idea. It is best to feel your best at your very special moment.

  Incorporate anything you and your spouse love in common to your wedding theme. This will give your overall decorations and motif a personal and distinct touch. Choices and designs of invitations and souvenirs and even venue arrangement can be made to jive to your custom theme.

  Be calmly meticulous in planning your wedding. Carefully and patiently look into every detail as much as you can so as to avoid any untoward surprises. You may want your standard guests to be excited and interacting with what you plan for your special day, allowing them to take notice of some details you may overlook.

  It is better to give your guests a schedule of events in order for them to know what events they should make time for and attend. This is especially meant for those from out of town. Keep everyone informed on when and where they will be needed, for instance at the rehearsal.

  Keep your caterer up to speed with your plans and any subsequent changes or adjustments thereof. For instance, if you are planning to hold your reception outdoors, some foods won’t last long in the heat, and some food might not weigh enough to stay in its dish if there are strong winds. Fancy covers may be used to protect your food. You may have a small fridge to keep drinks cold.

  Silk flowers are good multi-theme alternative for many flowers that you may have included in your wedding. They are very versatile and can be chosen and bought months before the wedding day which will save you time, energy, perhaps money too.

  It is unnecessary to fill your reception tables with too much flowers. They will only get in the way when your guests are trying to eat. And, there is a possibility that some guests may be allergic to flowers. You may instead put unscented candles on the table. This will help create a romantic ambiance to your setup.

  Weddings are supposed to be special so make it a special commitment to give special attention to your preparations for this special day. More importantly make it a point that indeed your preparations will hasten in making this day meaningful, memorable, and special for a lifetime.
